  One thing I'd prefer to say is that often before purchasing more personal computer memory, consider the machine within which it would be installed. When the machine is running Windows XP, for instance, a memory threshold is 3.25GB. Applying above this would merely constitute just a waste. Be sure that one's mother board can handle the actual upgrade volume, as well. Interesting blog post.
